Private rental yacht cruising Lake Union with the Seattle skyline behind it
Private Boat Rental Seattle

Seattle boat rental,
with the captain included.

Private captained charters on Lake Union and Lake Washington, departing minutes from downtown Seattle. Up to six guests. Everything included.

The Charter

Your own yacht, a friendly captain, and a day on the water.

Most Seattle boat rentals make you drive, watch the clock, and plan the route. We don't. Captain Jeff handles the helm, navigation, and every detail — so you can settle in, pour a drink, and actually be on the water. The boat is a beautifully kept European-designed yacht with a flybridge, shaded salon, sun pad, and private bathroom. Bring your food, drinks, and playlist; we'll bring the ice, rafts, and best anchorages.

  • USCG-licensed Master Captain
  • Up to 6 guests, fully private
  • Lake Union & Lake Washington

Lake Union

Lake Union boat rentals — the Seattle skyline, up close.

Lake Union is the postcard. Float past the Space Needle and downtown skyline, cruise the famous Sleepless in Seattle houseboat, glide under the Aurora Bridge, and watch seaplanes lift off by Gas Works Park. It's the most photogenic stretch of water in the city.

Lake Washington

Lake Washington boat rentals — quiet coves, big water.

Through the Montlake Cut and you're on Lake Washington — bigger, calmer, and built for floating. Anchor in a protected cove near Hunts Point, pull out the rafts, and enjoy one of the most relaxing spots on the lake. On clear days, Mount Rainier sits on the horizon.

Not sure which lake suits your group? Most charters do both — Jeff will help you pick a route when you book.

Good to Know

Questions, answered.

Yes. Your charter always includes a USCG-licensed captain. Captain Jeff runs most trips himself, and on rare occasions a trusted guest captain may step in.

A beautifully kept European-designed flybridge yacht with a shaded salon, sun pad, flybridge seating, private bathroom, and a Bluetooth sound system. Comfortable for two, ideal for six.

South Lake Union, five minutes from downtown Seattle. Kirkland and Bellevue pick-ups are available for an additional fee.

$295 per hour for the entire boat and captain — not per person. Most guests book three to five hours. Weekday and off-peak rates are sometimes lower; text Jeff for a personalized quote.

Up to six. Families with kids are welcome, and the boat stays comfortable whether it's two of you or a full group.

Most charters do both — Lake Union for the skyline and houseboats, then through the Montlake Cut to Lake Washington to anchor, swim, and float. Jeff will help you build the route when you book.

The Space Needle and downtown skyline, the Sleepless in Seattle houseboat, seaplanes lifting off from Lake Union, the Aurora Bridge, Gas Works Park, the UW Arboretum and Husky Stadium, Bill Gates' Medina estate — and on clear days, Mount Rainier on the horizon.

Just food, drinks, sunscreen, swimsuits, and a layer for the ride home. Cooler, ice, cups, plates, water, rafts, towels, and the sound system are already on board.

Yes — beer, wine, champagne, and cocktails are all welcome. We just ask you skip red wine to protect the upholstery.

May through October. July and August bring the warmest water and longest days; June and September are quieter, equally beautiful, and often easier to book.

Summer weekends and sunset slots tend to book two to four weeks ahead. Weekdays and off-peak dates often need only a few days' notice — text Jeff and he'll tell you what's open.

Light rain is rarely an issue — the salon is enclosed and the helm is covered. If conditions are genuinely unsafe, Jeff will reach out to reschedule at no charge.
